vhc > 1905 Peacock Hotel (Berryessa Hotel) in the town of Monticello.  - E.A. Peacock built the Berryessa Hotel in 1866, the first important commercial structure in the Berryessa Valley. It was destroyed by a fire in the late 1930's.  Wade Little (tall gent in white shirt & tieon hotel porch) leased hotel from 1900 to 1908.  Joe Morre later a Napa County Supervisor for 18 years, is seated at far right when he was a young man working as a blacksmith.
